Features of the Navigator are described in the ¨GeneSys Evolution〃 section. Should an application require more than 10 inlets, an external Navigator unit will be required. ESS Navigator can be configured to sample from up to 64 sample points, and offers the user the following capabilities:

• Select a different gas mixture on a different sample point
• Save data to individual files for each point
• Select different sample times for each point

With ultra low volumes, combined with manifold heater system, transit times are ultra-quick, coupled with extremely low background levels, thus ensuring that there is no compromise on instrument sensitivity.

Control of the vacuum system is performed entirely by the software package and a front panel LCD / LED display indicates the status of the instrument.

GeneSys offers fully quantitative software (up to 64 channels) as standard, and has the option of automated operation.

3 Analogue outputs and 2 analogue inputs are available as standard with GeneSys Evolution, which is housed within a compact and lightweight enclosed trolley.
